Quality Control
Natural stone is a material elaborated in the deepest intimacy of the earth throughout a geological process that escapes the control of man. Thus, this material is offered to us in an amazing geo-diversity.
Its natural origin, its considerable age and its aesthetic qualities make it a very popular material, synonymous with tradition, authenticity, diversity and robustness.
And yet, nature, in the course of its immense geological cycle, is capable of bringing together the best and the worst! It is therefore up to man to make his way through this diversitý and to choose those materials that, among these, can satisfy the requirements of modern construction technologies but also the artistic eye of designers and architects.
Beyond the detection of production defects (manufacturing process wastes), we must also define a visual classification of the products, integrating the notions of background color, pattern color, densitý of veining, granularity, etc... The delimitation between these categories being very subjective, it is inevitable that the sorting of materials at the end of the line is a very delicate operation for the operator who must simultaneously control the dimensions of the slab, the qualitý of its polishing and the presence of unwanted patterns (filed, geodes... and thus proceed to the downgrading of cracked, chipped slabs, affected by sawing or polishing anomalies).

- Typological classification throughout the manufacturing process at each stage
- Traceability of the tile to the quarry bench
