Description

The “Martelé” finish is a mechanical and thermal surface treatment that under high pressure and temperature hollows out the surface of the stone to give it a slightly warped but physically reinforced appearance. The texture of the stone obtained is visually homogeneous and non-slip to the touch. A second treatment results in a completely smooth surface with a slight shine. This treatment gives the stone an antique look, but its silky, shimmering appearance also reveals a modern, contemporary feel.

Stone description

Grey limestone, compact, rich in quartz and silica. This stone can be animated by slight veining or small fossils. Mechanical and organic characteristics extremely resistant to bending, and extreme weather conditions. Two shades available: Kahla light (light grey) and Kahla Dark (dark grey). Ideal for modern environments
